Jenny: In a lot of ways being a mom is, well, weird. Despite the fact that I think my daughters, Maggie, Cecilia, and Alex are the most adorable creatures on the face of the earth, there are times when I still can't come to terms with the fact that I have three kids. (Three!) I went from being someone who was fun, fit, and relatively organized to being "Mommy" (and referring to myself by that name so many times each day that the word "I" has basically fallen out of my vocabulary). I recently left my job as a teacher of seventh-graders to devote myself full time to these three little cherubs, and it's been a very emotional transition as I redefine who I am. My intention in writing this blog is to reclaim some of who I used to be and to celebrate the person "mommyhood" has made me.
